One of the activities of kondition pluriel is to participate in symposia and conferences, in order to encourage interdisciplinary research and to continue the development of projects calling for collaboration between people from a variety of fields, such as artists, theoreticians, scientists, technologists and/or engineers. We believe that aesthetic and critical forms of discourse are necessary for defining artistic processes, aesthetic fields and languages.

kondition pluriel offers media/technology and interactive performance workshops and lectures. During these sessions, we alternate between practice and theory, employing methodological structures and improvisation. The themes stretch from performative strategies to intelligent environments, tele-presence, automata and virtuality. The utopia and reality in media art, architecture and live performance define the discourse fields.

The workshops usually take place in the existing infrastructure integrating and/or involving kondition pluriel’s particular technological set-up. They include theory and thematic discussions synthesized in practical lessons and examples. The number of people fluctuates between 8 to 15 persons and the duration varies from two days up to two weeks. The workshops can be offered in English, French, German, and/or Portuguese.
