Alexandre St-Onge
is a bass player and sound designer entirely devoted to improvisation
and experimentation. He is actively involved with several different
Canadian groups and musicians such as Undo, Klaxon Gueule, Shalabi
Effect, Eric Létourneau and Maryse Poulin. He also does sound
design for theatre and dance performances and events. His practice
is based on the dialogue between silence and sound.
Scott Monteith, alias Deadbeat
has participated in the Montréal electronic music scene since
1995. His work is based on the exploration of the connections
between art and technology. This exploration entails various approaches
to composition and the development of new applications. His work
led him to co-found the group collective Covert Ops and to take
part in a Montréal/Berlin performance, retransmitted online by
Internet with Mutek2002. Deadbeat’s first solo album, Primordia,
was released in 2001.

Line Nault is interested
in representation interpretation, choreography and staging. She
collaborated with theatre, dance and visual artists: Martin Bélanger,
Louis Champagne, Stéphane Crête, Brigitte Haentjens, the Momentum
and Trans-Théâtre groups have collaborated with her in various
projects. She has been working with Marie-Claude Poulin since
1991.

Jessica Cumberbirch
studied dance in Kirov in Russia, in the United States, and in
Canada. She worked with the Alberta Ballet, and with Mariko Tanabe,
Louise Bédard Danse, and Brigitte Graff in Montréal. Recently,
she performed in “Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune” by Motaz
Kabbani.

Livia Pellerin is
a young dancer who recently graduated in contemporary dance from
Concordia University. She is also familiar with capoeira and break
dancing. She performed in productions of the Dance Department
of Concordia from 2000 to 2002 and at the Art Matters festival.

Johan Versteegh invents
uses for electronic appliances. After studying engineering in
industrial and electro-technical design in Holland, his interest
in the arts led him to work as a light and sound technician, and
in creating media environments. His technical expertise enables
him to work as a special advisor of projects of great technical
complexity.

Mathieu St-Arnaud
is, as a technician, specialized in interactive installation and
performance. As an artist, his work can be described as an intimate
look at casual objects through various digital samples. He has

Marie Chouinard, kondition pluriel, Théâtre UBU, Society
for Technological Arts (SAT) and PPS Danse.

is an artist working in the fields of electronic and electro-acoustic
music, video, interactive or reactive installation, situation,
and performance. Under the pseudonym "01ek", Alexander produces
electro-acoustic-oriented tech-trance music. He is co-founder
of !ArterA!,
a Montreal-based group of artists converging on a common political/ethical/mythical
mission.

David Poulin has worked
as production manager with the Grand théâtre émotif du Québec,
Les Laboratoires Crête and the Momentum Theatre Company. He has
also worked as technical director for several productions of L’Espace
Libre and as stage manager for Théâtre Le Clou and Le Cirque du
Soleil.

Philippe Dupeyroux
has designed lighting for contemporary dance. He has collaborated
on works by Dominique Porte, Gwen Noah, Deborah Dunn, Irène Stamou
and The Improvisational Movement Fund, amongst others. Working
with the Compagnie Flak under José Navas’ artistic direction,
he spent four years as the company’s technical director and lighting
designer.

Patrice Besombes has
been working as a lighting designer in dance, theatre and opera
for the last twenty years. He is currently working in France with
the director Christophe Huysman and has been collaborating extensively
with Philippe Decouflé and Carolyn Carlson, along with numerous
French and international choreographers and theatre directors.

Frédérique Lessard
studied in London where she completed a Master’s degree in fashion
design at the St-Martin’s School of Art and Design. A graduate
of the École Pierre Dupuis in garment making and Collège Lasalle
(Montréal) in fashion design, she has shown her talent in the
fields of film, theatre, and fashion. Her designs evoke the contemporary
urban world.

Sophie Michaud is
involved in choreography within several different choreographic
worlds, through what she defines as cast directing. She finished
a Master’s degree in dance at the Université du Québec à Montréal,
with a thesis on the phenomenon of perception. Her theoretical
work oriented her practice as a freelance dance coach with such
companies as Cas Public, Manon fait de la danse, and Roger Sinha,
amongst others.

Marie-Andrée Gougeon
has danced professionally for more than twelve years. Since 1994,
she has devoted herself exclusively to her activities as rehearsal
director, teacher and researcher. In 2001, she received a Master’s
degree in sciences (kinanthropology). Her more recent artistic
collaborations led to her work with the choreographers Benoît
Lachambre, Daniel Léveillé, José Navas, Sasha Waltz, Jean-Pierre
Perreault and Marie-Claude Poulin.

Marilou Aubin graduated
in Multimedia from UQAM in 2002. She pursued theoretical research
in the area of interactive performance, exploring extensions of
body expression. She presented a collective installation at the
SAT during Promo 4.1. She has worked as an assistant for the Cirque
du Soleil and as a programmer for INIS. She is currently getting
a specialization in Event Design.

Diagramme
gestion culturelle is a nonprofit organization receiving financial
support from the Canada Council, the Conseil des arts et des lettres
du Québec and the Conseil des arts de Montréal.
Founded in 1991, Diagramme offers administrative and marketing
services to the Québec dance community. In its nine years
of existence as a resource center for many dance organizations,
companies and independent artists, Diagramme has become an important
component of the Montreal dance community. Some artists and companies
that have benefited from Diagramme administrative support since
1991 are: Compagnie Flak, La compagnie de Brune, Jocelyne Montpetit
Danse, Le Carré des Lombes, Sylvain Émard Danse,
Van Grimde corps secrets, Mariko Tanabe dance, and Tassy Teekman
dance.

Jacquie Kolodiejchuk
completed a Master of Arts, Art History degree at Concordia University
in 2003. Her thesis explored the relationship between eating,
endurance, asceticism and the female body in 1990s’ feminist body
art involving the mouth and eating. She has worked as the co-editor
of a fine arts magazine, published art reviews and essays, and
exhibited her paintings in and around Montreal.
